Testimonials

“I knew when we found out that we were expecting our 2nd baby, with two under the age of three, I definitely wanted a postpartum doula to assist with navigating the challenges of two kids at home while recovering from a c-section.

Krystal was everything I could have hoped for. She took the time to understand what our expectations and needs were, remained extremely flexible throughout our contracted time, and was someone that I felt comfortable having inside our house watching our baby while the rest of us slept.”

“I’m so thankful to Krystal for coming alongside me during my postpartum experience! She knew I needed her more than I expected.

I called her crying one morning after getting no sleep due to my anxiety over my baby’s changing sleep schedule needs. She was so sweet and reassuring when I told her what a failure I felt like in this new crazy motherhood role.

Krystal let me vent and encouraged me in all the little ways I needed to implement some self-care so I could keep going.

All of the tips Krystal gave me for sleep helped a ton. There’s so much conflicting information out there and I was glad for her advice. My baby is doing great!

The best part of what Krystal told me was to trust myself! She knew I had all the capability to understand my baby’s needs and changes. I needed to hear that from someone who has the knowledge and experience.

Postpartum is harder than you think for most people; the more support you can get the better. When Krystal helps you she makes you feel so special and important and gives you the attention that shows you matter. You feel like all the things you’re experiencing in this new journey for your baby matter. I am extremely grateful!”

“I had never considered using a postpartum doula but am so so happy that we made the decision to work with Krystal after the birth of our second baby. With such limited support due to Covid, having someone we felt safe with there to help support us in the transition from 1 to 2 was an absolute life saver. She was available for basically anything we needed including laundry, meal prep, caring for baby while I rested, baby wearing options and helping our 2 year old with the transition to big sisterhood.

I would highly highly recommend working with Krystal and Blooming Love Doula.”

“Krystal is a mama to mamas (or a mama to any other infant care giver). She has been with my husband and I on our journey to parenthood since our son was born 8 months ago. When she was coming to our home for day time support, we would look forward to those days knowing we would be getting help and time to nourish ourselves. She helped both of us develop our infant care skills (i.e. breastfeeding, swaddling, diaper changes, baby wearing, bottle feeding, scheduling, etc.). She provided emotional and mental support by asking what we needed for ourselves that day or just by doing things she saw needed to be done. She is also wonderful at holding space for us to feel all the feelings that come with being a new parent without judgement. Beyond the in home care we received, Krystal has continued to offer virtual support when I've needed it most. She even found me a doula in the state we moved to when I was struggling and at some of my lowest points. She has still continued to check in from time to time and it is appreciated beyond words or reviews could explain. Doulas are one of the biggest blessings to a budding mama (or caregiver) and to have Krystal as your doula is just priceless. I would not be as balanced or confident as a new mama without her.”
